In cooperation with the Ministry of Health, the office of Al-Rahma International Society in Djibouti organized a comprehensive medical convoy to the Dikhil region in the south of the country last Friday, with the participation of specialist doctors and an administrative team to supervise the convoy.

This convoy was directed by the management of Al-Rahma Hospital to provide specialized medical care to patients from the region and surrounding areas, donated by Mr. Suleiman Ahmed Al-Farhan, a philanthropist from Kuwait.

During the convoy, which included doctors from various specialties such as cardiology, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, ENT, pediatrics, ophthalmology, general surgery, and radiology, 690 patients were examined and necessary medicines were provided to all, in addition to referring 70 cases to Al-Rahma Hospital in Djibouti City for further tests and surgeries.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the regional director of Al-Rahma International in Djibouti, Mr. Abdelghani Al-Qurashi, the director of Al-Rahma Hospital Dr. Mohamed Al-Sharqawi, project manager Mr. Khaled Abu Harj, the new governor of Dikhil Mr. Adam Musa Drar, the president of the regional council Mr. Abdelrahman Younis Ara, parliamentarians, and several dignitaries.

In a brief speech, the regional director of Al-Rahma International, Mr. Abdelghani Al-Qurashi, said: "Organizing this medical convoy is part of the efforts of Al-Rahma Hospital, affiliated with the Al-Rahma Development Complex, aimed at supporting the efforts of the Djiboutian government led by President Ismail Omar Guelleh to provide specialized medical care to citizens, especially those in the country's interior."

The new governor of Dikhil, Mr. Adam Musa Drar, the president of the regional council Mr. Abdelrahman Younis Ara, and MP Nuriyeh Wabri Hafneh all emphasized the tangible importance of the medical convoy, which undoubtedly meets the needs of the population for specialized medical services.

They stressed the positive impact of the various programs and activities carried out by Al-Rahma International, which cover educational, health, development, and relief fields.

It is worth noting that Al-Rahma International's projects focus on human development as a strategic plan, with efforts primarily directed at the educational and health sectors.
