This department treats most urinary and reproductive system diseases and performs special surgeries using modern equipment such as endoscopes for kidney stone fragmentation, ureter and bladder stone fragmentation, prostate removal by endoscopy and surgery, as well as removal of urinary tract stones and treatment of male infertility by specialized staff. The department receives about ten cases daily and has treated many cases such as kidney tumor removal and surgical repair of the urinary tract in children and adults. It is the only place in Djibouti with endoscopes for urinary tract surgeries.
